INTI College Sabah Celebrates Chinese New Year 2026 with Festive Campus Gathering
INTI College Sabah ushered in the Chinese New Year with a vibrant celebration at its new 8-storey campus at Batu 2.5, Jalan Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, bringing together students, staff, and guests to celebrate the festive season while reflecting on the College’s continued growth and future aspirations.
The celebration was particularly meaningful following the College’s relocation to its new campus last year, which coincided with INTI College Sabah’s 30th anniversary. This milestone reflects the institution’s continued growth and its unwavering commitment to providing an enhanced learning environment for students.
The event featured vibrant performances by students and the Student Council (31st INTIMA), a lively lion dance performance, a blessing ceremony, and the traditional Lao Sang toss which is a symbolic gesture representing prosperity, unity, and greater achievements in the year ahead.
In their addresses, Chairman Cui and Chief Executive Ms. Roselyn Chua encouraged the College community to embrace the Year of the Horse with resilience, unity, and bold ambition. Their messages reflected INTI College Sabah’s forward-looking vision and determination to pursue new opportunities with confidence.
The celebration highlighted not only the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year but also reaffirmed the College’s dedication to excellence and student-centered education as it embarks on its next chapter of development.
