Strategic Renewal of MOU Between INTI College Sabah and SME Association of Sabah to Deepen Industry Engagement and Inspire the Next Generation of Innovators
On 10 July 2025, INTI College Sabah andthe SME Association of Sabah once again renewed their partnership through aMemorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony. This renewal marks acontinuation of the shared vision and strong collaboration that have definedtheir relationship since the last renewal in July 2023. The ceremony was graced by the presenceof distinguished partners, Dr. Deledda Tan, President of the SME Association ofSabah; Mr. Lie Chun Vui, Deputy President; Ir. Edwin Fong Kim Wai, VicePresident; Mr. Sunny Chai Nyit Ngen, Director of Partnership Development cumCouncil Member. The ceremony was supported by Professor Dr. Vincent Pang,Chairman of the Board of Governors, INTI College Sabah, and Datuk Chong HonLen, a member of the Board of Governors. Also in attendance wererepresentatives from INTI College Sabah and Asia International Higher EducationCo. Ltd. (AIHE), namely Ms. Roselyn Chua, Chief Executive of INTI CollegeSabah, Dr. Athanasia Nointin, Academic Dean cum Global Partnership Liaison ofINTI College Sabah, and Mr. Dong Yi Hui, Chief Operating Officer of AIHE. In her opening remarks, Roselyn Chua,Chief Executive of INTI College Sabah, highlighted that “SME Association ofSabah is not only a vital pillar of the local economy but also an inspiringcommunity of entrepreneurs and innovators. By working hand-in-hand, we havecreated pathways for knowledge exchange, business development, and resourcesharing.” “Today’s renewal reaffirms ourcommitment to these shared goals. As we sign this Memorandum of Understanding,we pledge to deepen our collaboration, adapt to emerging challenges, and seizenew opportunities together,” she added. Dr. Deledda Tan, President of the SMEAssociation of Sabah, expressed her appreciation for the long-standingrelationship between the SME Association of Sabah and INTI College Sabah. Sheemphasized that this partnership is set to create a powerful synergy that willbenefit the community. “The MOU formalizes our intention tocollaborate in promoting industry-academia partnerships, particularly in areassuch as industry award sponsorships, bootcamps, training, coaching, andentrepreneurship mentoring. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone whocontributed to making this MOU a reality,” said Dr. Deledda Tan.
