Strategic Renewal of MOU Between INTI College Sabah and SME Association of Sabah to Deepen Industry Engagement and Inspire the Next Generation of Innovators
On 10 July 2025, INTI College Sabah and the SME Association of Sabah once again renewed their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony. This renewal marks a continuation of the shared vision and strong collaboration that have defined their relationship since the last renewal in July 2023.
The ceremony was graced by the presence
of distinguished partners, Dr. Deledda Tan, President of the SME Association of
Sabah; Mr. Lie Chun Vui, Deputy President; Ir. Edwin Fong Kim Wai, Vice
President; Mr. Sunny Chai Nyit Ngen, Director of Partnership Development cum
Council Member. The ceremony was supported by Professor Dr. Vincent Pang,
Chairman of the Board of Governors, INTI College Sabah, and Datuk Chong Hon
Len, a member of the Board of Governors. Also in attendance were
representatives from INTI College Sabah and Asia International Higher Education
Co. Ltd. (AIHE), namely Ms. Roselyn Chua, Chief Executive of INTI College
Sabah, Dr. Athanasia Nointin, Academic Dean cum Global Partnership Liaison of
INTI College Sabah, and Mr. Dong Yi Hui, Chief Operating Officer of AIHE.
In her opening remarks, Roselyn Chua,
Chief Executive of INTI College Sabah, highlighted that “SME Association of
Sabah is not only a vital pillar of the local economy but also an inspiring
community of entrepreneurs and innovators. By working hand-in-hand, we have
created pathways for knowledge exchange, business development, and resource
sharing.”
“Today’s renewal reaffirms our
commitment to these shared goals. As we sign this Memorandum of Understanding,
we pledge to deepen our collaboration, adapt to emerging challenges, and seize
new opportunities together,” she added.
Dr. Deledda Tan, President of the SME
Association of Sabah, expressed her appreciation for the long-standing
relationship between the SME Association of Sabah and INTI College Sabah. She
emphasized that this partnership is set to create a powerful synergy that will
benefit the community.
“The MOU formalizes our intention to
collaborate in promoting industry-academia partnerships, particularly in areas
such as industry award sponsorships, bootcamps, training, coaching, and
entrepreneurship mentoring. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who
contributed to making this MOU a reality,” said Dr. Deledda Tan.
