INTI College Sabah and Chuzhou Vocational College Partner to Launch Huizhou Craftsmen Workshop

Huangshan, China – June 5, 2025 — INTI College Sabah (ICS) has signed a strategic agreement with Chuzhou City Vocational College to establish the Huizhou Craftsmen Workshop and an Overseas Vocational Training Base in Malaysia. The signing took place during the 2025 RCEP Local Government and Sister Cities Forum in Huangshan, China.

The initiative, supported by the Sabah Belt and Road Higher Education Association, will provide “Chinese + Technical” training programs in traditional Huizhou craftsmanship, including courses, certification, and regional internship opportunities. Ten Malaysian construction firms have pledged their support to help ensure clear career pathways for trainees.

Both institutions view the project as a model for cultural and vocational collaboration under the RCEP framework, combining heritage preservation with skills development across ASEAN region.
