INTI College Sabah Celebrates Graduates at Connexion Conference and Event Centre (CCEC), Bangsar South, KL
INTI College Sabah
(ICS) recently celebrated the graduation of its students from the BA (Hons)
Accounting and Finance and BA (Hons) Business Administration programs, in
collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. The
ceremony took place on 14 July 2024 at the prestigious Connexion Conference and
Event Centre (CCEC), Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
The
event honoured the achievements of all 47 graduates, with a special spotlight
on the 13 students who graduated with First Class Honours. Among these
distinguished students, 3 from the Accounting and Finance major were Chung Zi
Ying, Eiu Tze Zhen, and Melissa Chin Hon Bei. 10 students from the Business
Administration major were Anissa Thea Kong, Chin Mei Yin, Chin Yen Yi, Darell
Chow, Joy Chan Yan Yan, Lim Hui Chyng, Michelle Wong Tze Wen, Nurizawana Binti
Suraman, Tam Xin Yu Felicia, and Wong Ping Kie (in alphabetical order).
Adding
to the celebration were the prestigious University of Hertfordshire University Prize Awards
presented to outstanding students. Wong Ping Kie received the Best Academic
Achievement (Overall) award. The Best Academic Achievement (By Campus) awards
were presented to Darell Chow and Melissa Chin Hon Bei. These awards were presented
in recognition of their exceptional academic and extracurricular achievements.
In
a significant acknowledgement from the industry, the Chief Executive of ICS,
Ms. Roselyn Chua presented the ACCA Industry Award for Best
Accounting Graduate to Chung Zi Ying and Melissa Chin Hon Bei. The SME Sabah Industry Awards were
presented by Dr. Athanasia Nointin, Academic Dean of ICS, to two remarkable
students. Wong Ping Kie received the SME Sabah Industry Award for Academic
Excellence, while Tam Xin Yu Felicia was awarded the SME Sabah Industry Award
for Student Leadership. Special thanks and appreciation to our industry
partners, ACCA Malaysia and SME Association of Sabah.
Congratulations
to all First Class Honours graduates, award recipients, and to every graduate
who has reached this significant milestone. Your hard work and dedication have
truly paid off, and we are excited to see the bright futures that lie ahead for
each of you.
